There are not many apartments and units available in the main cbd area of Bellingen and surrounding localities such as Valery, Raleigh, Urunga, Dark Wood and Thora. What is available is mostly older style. It is predominantly houses and often on larger blocks that you find in most capital cities.

Investment or Holiday Home

Bellingen is a very popular holiday destination due to its amazing climate and quirky nature. Bellingen is home to number of yearly festivals such as the Readers and Writers festival. The Air BnB scene is very dynamic and farm stays are popular. While property prices have risen there are still some excellent opportunities for investment growth.

Commercial Property

Bellingen has less medium to large commercial focus. The commercial focus is more home and hospitality based with many retail areas available. It is appealing to those who run arts and craft or food/tourist based businesses.

Rural Property

Rural property is plentiful in the Bellingen area and ranges from full commercial farms up in the Dorrigo area to hobby properties. Prices have rapidly increased over the last 20 years. Buying properties with a hospitality focus is popular. Many are listed on Air BnB and Stayz.

House prices in Urunga are generally lower than in Belligen itself. There are some large prestigue properties to be found in areas such as Glennifer.

There is no to extremely limited units available in the greater Bellinger Valley
